The Jack Kerouac Scholarship Foundation is proud to present
the 11TH ANNUAL Jack Kerouac 5K Road Race!
at The Worthen in Lowell

Jack Kerouac was and still remains a central figure in the history of Lowell Massachusetts. Born and raised here, his work exemplifies the gentle grit and tone of our city. We honor his contributions to twentieth-century literature and culture by dedicating this race to his memory and to the spirit in which he lived his life.

Time: Race-day registration opens at 10:00AM. Race starts at 12:00 Noon sharp.
Place: The Worthen House, 141 Worthen Street, Lowell, MA.

Entry Fee: $25 pre entry (on-line registration closes sept. 27th) $30 race day. Entry fee is non-refundable.

Collectible Jack Kerouac Micro-tec race shirt to first 400 entrants.

Awards: Top three male and female overall and top three in the following categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
Benefit: Race proceeds go to the Jack Kerouac Scholarship awarded annually to a Lowell High School graduating senior planning a major in literature or the arts.
Fun! Post-race party at The Worthen House includes food, refreshments, adult beverages, and giveaways and entertainment.
